Look out – it’s the next generation!

New to Oslo this year is the Nor-Shipping Campus, a city centre-based offshoot of the main exhibition, with a mission to attract and engage young people with shipping as a career.
Among the prime movers is YoungShip, a network founded in 2004 to bring together young professionals in shipping and offshore for fun and some serious work too. When we visited on Thursday morning, its president Birgit Liodden was entertaining a tent full of schoolchildren with a very laid-back presentation.
